Mabel Methodist Episcopal Church, South, which was named Union Methodist Episcopal Church, South until 1921, was the Methodist Episcopal Sunday School for Mabel and Union communities in Watauga County, N.C. Due to boundary changes of the two communities, the church building was located first in Union, then in Mabel.
